The next day we were all thrilled to know that we would spend a whole day on our own private beach on the beautiful island of Waiheke! It was a dream! We had paddleboards, surfboards, paddleboats, jet boats, volleyball nets and fishing boats all to our selves along with a beautiful private cove! We were so thrilled to be in paradise and take a day to relax and hang out before the show! One downer on the day was when the crew decided to go cliff jumping into the ocean. It was pretty high and the waves would push you into the cliff rocks if you weren’t careful. Being there with the nitro crew, things were bound to get risky and competitive! Everyone was throwing back flips, front flips, and all sorts of spins off the cliffs. Ethen decided to throw a double back flip to show everyone up, and came up a little short on the last rotation and smacked into the water face first! Basically he was punched in the face by Poseidon himself! Ouch! He came out of the water with an instant concussion, two black eyes and a bloody nose! That was not a fun day for him! When we wiped away the blood, he looked close to a newborn kitten, or an old Asian man! As the sun started to set on the beautiful ocean coast, the beauty intensified and we finished it with an amazing kiwi barbeque! Such a fun day!
