I will say Olden is the city that surprised me the most! I was SHOCKED when we arrived in such a picturesque place! We had no real plans for the day, so we decided to venture on foot and spend as much time outside in this gorgeous city as we possibly could! We found ourselves hiking to the top of Briksdalsbre, which was incredible! Briksdalsbre is a scenic wonderland! Its keystone is the massive (and majestic) Briksdal glacier that feeds its water to the gushing waterfalls and out through the valley of Olden. It is surrounded by towering mountainsides, and the landscapes around are incredible. There are sheep everywhere and fields of long grass. It is perfectly preserved and looks as though it were taken out of a painting. We all decided to spend the entire day taking in the beauty of this place, and none of us wanted to leave when the time came. This place could be mistaken for heaven thats for sure! I would recommend it to ANYONE!
