Geiranger, Norway

Geiranger is the place I imagined when I first thought of Norway and the disney movie Frozen! It is a place I have definitely dreamt of before! We woke up early (4AM) to sit at the top of the boat and watch (drooling over the beauty) as we passed the Seven Sisters (waterfalls). Something about being in a boat and floating in the narrow fjords between two MASSIVE mountains is magical. We even had the chance to spot the “Trolls Face” in the mountain right before the hidden gem of a city, Geranger, was spotted. Today was definitely an active day. We took advantage of the good weather and beautiful scenery and decided to hike to the main sites of this little city. Our first stop was Fossevandring, which was an immensely powerful waterfall that emptied into the base of the Geiranger Fjord. We continued on to Flydalsjuvet and Skagefla which both offered incredible vantage points of the Fjord and city below. This was the most peaceful and elegant place I have ever been. I will DEFINITELY find a way to come back here one day!
