Bali, Indonesia
We woke up this morning at 4:45 to head to the airport to fly to BALI! We were SO excited! The boys brought the surfboards they bought off of Cam, and everyone packed into the twelve seaters for the drive to Brisbane airport. When we got to the airport we checked in and had breaky, then boarded the plane for a six-hour flight. :/ Surprisingly, the flight went by fairly fast. We were all seated next to each other so a few chats and a couple movies later we were landing in Indonesia! As soon as the flight doors opened we KNEW we weren’t in Sydney anymore. It was so humid and everyone was dripping sweat. I have never been so hot in my life! We took a bus to our hotel, and it was the most beautiful place! Josh and I were in room one, which was right next to the pool. The rooms were so comfy and not to mention were air-conditioned (thank heavens!) After everyone got settled in, we went to walk along the beach and grab some dinner while the sun went down. We found an Indonesian restaurant on the beach, and enjoyed some Balinese food while watching the sun set on the oceans of Indonesia. Breathtaking. After dinner, we were not ready for bed just yet, so we decided to get full body massages and walk along the streets and barter. The massages were amazing. Josh and I had couples massages and the oils/scents they used were so relaxing. When we were finished getting our massages, we were so incredibly relaxed [& it was midnight] so we decided to go back to the hotel to sleep and regain strength for our day tomorrow. Bali is incredible.
