This weekend we headed down south for an Enduro Eureka Weekend! Tanner was to set a world record this weekend and we couldn’t be more excited for him! Our friends were headed down as well so it was going to be nice to get away with them for a week before we head off to Australia for three months! We got down there early and had the chance to see Tanner and Gavin setting up the track for the race! It was also really nice to see Dick and Diane’s beautiful home in Beaver Dam [Josh always told stories of fun times they had there so it was cool to put a place to a memory.]
The actual races and enduro challenges were so intense and exciting to watch! All the Godfrey boys did amazing and Josh and Ethen even participated in the big end race challenge. Ethen back flipped over the ramp and left the crowd in awe, and Josh even tried a heel clicker on the wide gap! It was definitely a proud wife moment! However, the best moment by far was watching Tanner jump and DOUBLE the world record! He jumped 105 feet in a rhino!!! It was incredible to be a part of such a big accomplishment for him [we could not be more excited for him!!!]
The fun filled weekend ended with a trip to the St. George narrows, staying another night in the Roberts St. George home, eating breakfast at the Bear Paw, the boys getting a golf game in, Colton winning 1000 dollars, and Josh and I celebrating our six month anniversary! Such a memorable weekend to say the least!
