The Pittsburg show went great, but we were excited to have the next day off in St. Louis, Missouri! I have seen picture of the great arch which was known as “the gateway to the west,” but I wanted to explore for myself! We got up early and walked around the city, and our hotel was literally right around the corner from this amazing arch! We felt so incredibly lucky! We ate at a yummy BBQ cafe for lunch and then went straight to the arch. We bought tickets to ride to the top (in the sketchy elevator pods!!) and on our way to the elevator it started pouring rain, and I mean POURING up in this place! It was so funny watching everyone scramble for shelter. Josh and I just decided to embrace it since we were soaked in the first 5 seconds. The arch was unreal, and we were so glad we decided to pay a little extra and go to the top. Something we definitely won’t forget! For dinner we went to Ballpark Village and ate yummy Mexican food while watching a baseball game. Such a perfect day!
