While traveling back to Australia from Japan, I had the opportunity to spend a day in Seoul, South Korea. I didn’t quite know what to expect, but I am SO grateful for this chance! I took a tour around the city, and stopped at some of the historic places, like Gyeongbokgung, Bongeunsa Temple and the Jogyesa Temple. After learning of the culture and past times, we settled in for a traditional Korean meal of kimchi, bibimbap, and bulgogi. After lunch we took the chance to shop around and check out the busy streets. I would love to come back to Korea one day and spend some more time exploring the beautiful city!
