Rome, Italy

The train ride to Rome was incredible. I have never seen so many beautiful vineyards and landscapes! We arrived in Rome just after lunch time, so we found our airbnb in the city and headed out for a good eat. Dinner was amazing, we found a local pasta restaurant and I ordered the most amazing gnocchi! Man I love gnocchi!! When we finished eating we wandered around and found ourselves at the Pantheon which was lit up beautifully. There was a man playing the cello (stairway to heaven was on the playlist!!) in front of the pantheon and the only word that comes to mind is EPIC. We ordered gelato (this dessert has become an every day staple here in Europe…) and sat down to take it all in. The next morning we woke up early and mapped out our day. We visited the Colosseum, the Rome LDS Temple, and the Trevi Fountain. We had lunch right next to the fountain in a quaint little cafe. We rented scooters and drove up and around the cobble stone streets. I am in love with this city!
