When we got to our hotel, we were so excited to be reunited with Beaver! We took our rental car and drove to the popular skate park, “The Playground,” so he could show us some new tricks he’s been working on. Half an hour after we arrived, apparently the park posted on their Facebook that Nitro was there and a million little kids showed up to take photos and skate with the boys! It was crazy! I had a chat with one of the moms and after she had a chance to meet the boys she really wanted to express to me how grateful she was that these boys, who were her sons IDOLS, were so down to earth and friendly to her children. It was a cool experience to witness. Josh and Beaver were so nice to these boys and now they keep emailing Josh to come back and skate with them! It is so cute! Once the boys were worn out, we headed down to the oceanside for some dinner. We settled on chicken kebabs and a nice seat on the dock. The city was packed! Not only was Nitro in town, but so was a music festival, Groovin in the Moo, which we had tickets to tomorrow! Yay! We goofed around with some interesting statues we found for a while, and had a lemon throwing contest, then decided it would be best to catch some sleep before the big show tomorrow! Love spending time with these boys!
