Paris, France
Today was our last FULL day here in Paris, so we decided to make the most of it and go explore parts of the city we haven’t seen. We took the metro to Chatelet and found a cafe for lunch in the most magical part of town! Sooooo romantic! We got a table outside so we could people watch and get an idea of how the French spend their Saturday mornings… Let’s just say every cafe was FULL of friends and lovers and the markets were PACKED!! [I guess it was Valentines weekend, so everyone was hurrying to get their loved ones a gift as well…] We saw many purchasing chocolates and flowers, and my heart just melted for all the love that is going to be spread tomorrow! Lunch was divine [I had my favorite pasta dish GNOCHI!!] and the weather was nice with a touch of rain [which was perfectly fine with me (I LOVE RAIN)] I feel like I learned so much this afternoon by simply observing the people around me…. I challenge all of you to observe/ponder/& think more deeply, we all need to have a better sense of understanding [something I am going to strive for!]
