I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when arriving in Budapest, but I am SUCH A LOVER of the city now!! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this gem sooner! It was real late when we arrived, so we put our bags in the hotel and wandered around looking for a restaurant that was still serving food. We ended up at the Hard Rock Cafe, Budapest, and no one was complaining about that! The next morning we woke up early to do some filming with the local hockey players for Nitro Circus’ new series “Crazy Train.” There was some Semi Truck drifting involved as well as some intense hockey games. After a fun filled morning, we explored Hungary’s version of Oktoberfest or “the Beer Festival.” We don’t drink alcohol so for us we took in the gorgeous atmosphere and wandered around the incredible castle we were in! The views were gorgeousĀ and overlooked both cities, Buda and Pest. Josh and I split from the group determined to find a local restaurant. We struck gold with the cafe we found serving goulash and traditional Hungarian foods! I absolutely LOVE this type of food! We had heard that thermal baths was the thing to do here, so after dinner Josh and I ventured off to find one. We found ourselves in the most incredible thermal bath experience ever! There were at least 20 different baths that all had different temperatures and each one had a different healing purpose. I had so much fun jumping from bath to bath and playing in the waters of Budapest. It was the perfect way to end our time here in Budapest!
