Today we woke up early and dressed in our Sunday best to go to the temple in Brisbane. When we arrived at 8:30, they told us that the first session of baptisms (we had to do baptisms because Heather wasn’t endowed yet, which was fine and SO much fun!) wasn’t until 10:00 just our luck! We had a nice spiritual moment reading scriptures and talking in the foyer. The experience today in the temple was powerful and so fun to share with my new family. It was a MUCH NEEDED day. After the temple, we headed to grab some food in Brisbane city. We ended up at a Mexican joint where we indulged in the most amazing burritos. We hadn’t had good Mexican like that in a long time! Yum! After lunch we jumped back in the car and headed to the Gold Coast. Heather and Ethen decided to finish the day paddle boarding, and Josh and I had to catch up on some Pharmacy Tech and Edits at home so we hot tubbed and went for a quick walk on the beach instead. Such a fun spiritual day with the family. Very much needed!
